What are microbes? Who are they?
These and other info in these Microworld comics!

#1 What are microbes?

Bonus, Microbial World v1

A couple of years ago, I started this idea as a comic. What format do you like it more? I think this format would come back, but I need to think about in this scicomm exploration. You can check it out as a bonus 😉

#2 Eukaryotes

Currently, the three life Domains are: Bacteria, Archaea and Eukaryota. The one that we can see easily are mostly from the Eukaryota Domain.
Eukarya or Eukaryota are known to have bigger cells, with nucleus and organelles. Examples of these organisms are fungi, animals and plants. Inside this part of the tree and inside the animal phylum, there is a tinny little branch where the human species (not race!) are part and we represent a small part of the whole biodiversity in our planet.

#3 Prokaryotes

Currently, the three life Domains are: Bacteria, Archaea and Eukaryota. The first two belong to the Prokaryotes group.

In contrast to Eukaryota, Prokaryotes are microorganisms that doesn’t have nucleus nor close organelles. They are the most diverse group and can live everywhere even in us! But don’t worry, most of them are innocuous for humans. Check in the comic bellow some more info about them!
